Update: Many thanks to all who purchased Colombian single-origin coffee over the long weekend! We sold 231 bags and will be rounding up our Food 4 Farmers donation to $500.

Our hearts go out to the people of Colombia, ravaged by COVID-19 and now experiencing ongoing political unrest and violence.
Some of our longest-standing Direct Trade relationships are with Colombian farmers, from the Portilla family of Finca Santa Maria and Padre Joe’s team at Finca Villa Loyola, both in Nariño, to the Herrera brothers of Café Granja La Esperanza in Valle del Cauca.
With trade at a standstill, the situation is dire. To help give back to those in need—and extend our reach beyond established Direct Trade partners—we will be donating $2 from every bag of Colombian coffee sold through Monday, May 31st, to Food 4 Farmers.
This non-profit organization supports coffee producers throughout Latin America, partnering “with families and farmers’ organizations to create thriving food hubs, diversify income, and implement sustainable farming practices that promote biodiversity and ecosystem resiliency.”
Thank you for helping us support the people who do so much for the specialty coffee world!
